Bayou Fish House

If you're looking for fresh fish and friendly, small diner feel, customer service, then you've got to get to the Bayou Fish House.

I've gone twice for their Thursday special fish tacos. But since then, they have decided to make them an every day item on their menu, which is great news.

They have two locations. One in Newport and the other in Price Hill. I've only been to the Newport location and it is a small place with only the cook there during lunch. He takes the order, cooks the food and brings it to you when it's ready. He will also let you know all about the freshly made slaw and sauce they put on the fish tacos which made them even better.

Three tacos is more than enough and I can't wait to go back to try other menu options including some shrimp tacos which I have recently heard they will make.

I highly encourage you to try it out. But if you go, be sure to invite me along. :)

Mad Mike's

If you haven't been there yet, you have to go. Mad Mike's is one of my new favorite burger places. It's up there with Terry's and City View Tavern good.

The best way to describe it is to think of a bigger and fresher Five Guys burger. It is plenty of food and definitely plenty of fries but the burger is so much juicier and more flavorful than Five Guys.

It is located in Florence and it is worth a trip down!

I've been there a couple times now and both burgers were awesome. Take a look at the pictures.

Going mobile!

Finally blogger has an app. Haven't looked for one in awhile but glad I did today! Hopefully I will be able to do some quick blogs now on the go! I have been taking plenty of pictures and look forward to sharing them again soon!
